Over the years, she began to offer support to new members of that online group. Julie joined the Flourish board because she wanted to give back to people in her local community too and to make sure others had access to the support she had received from local lactation consultants with both her children. Julie enjoys reading, crafting and spending time with her family.

Meghann Goetz , Board Member

Meghann has been an elementary school teacher in Bloomington since 2014. This work is grounded in her belief in helping all children and families. In 2015, she became a mother and embarked on a journey of breastfeeding struggles. Luckily, she was able to find a supportive community to help feed her son. When she had her daughter in 2017, Milk Matters was available from day one to help. Meghann believes that this support for families in our community should start from the very beginning and be available to all.
