Lydia was born and raised in Bloomington, Indiana. She currently works for the Indiana WIC program at the Indiana Department of Health. She received her doctorate in health behavior from Indiana University where she researched nonprofit human milk bank donation. She is a certified lactation specialist and aspires to become an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant. Lydia has been with Flourish as a board member and volunteer since its founding in 2015. She currently serves as our Milk Matters Clinic Manager. In her spare time, she likes to watch reality television, play with her two cats, garden, and do puzzles.
